Young and impressionable, Long started out with a dream of telling stories, so he studied Animation at LASALLE.
While immersed in the world of hand-drawn 2D animation, he was introduced to After Effects, a tool that opened up many possibilities for storytelling. His curiosity was piqued, and he soon found himself spending more and more time on it.
Then 2020 hit, during his graduation year. Long was still young and impressionable, but also unemployed.
“Great timing!” he said, using all that free time to play, explore, and learn much more about editing. What could have been a pause turned into further practice.
Then he got started at an social media agency in 2021, and he was introduced to the world of design and marketing, where creativity meets story and purpose.
The industry has given him a great playground to experiment in, and to keep having fun with the things that first caught his attention in his early years.
Legends say he is still easily impressed. As long as it helps him grow in the craft of telling the stories he wants to tell.
